The Continental Cup is a tournament held by our sponsor The Masada Bar.
This years fixtures are provisionally as follows:
Wed30th July - Ferryhill vs Continental
Mon4th August - Ferryhill vs MS United
Mon11th August - Ferryhill vs Masada

| 16/06/2008 - Training and notes from meeting |
Football Training will start Saturday 28th June
Venue - Seaton Park
Time 1.00pm
Take Trainers aswell as boots
For those who could not attend the last meeting the following was discussed:
We want to resign everyone from last season where possible (very important).
Dave Sullivan will be assistant manager (will still be training and
playing - if and when required).
A manager has still to be appointed.
Ian Burrows was identified as a candidate but he cannot commit full time,
which is no good (He may be able to assist with training though).
Les Morrison has been approached and we are waiting on a reply. Les
previously managed Ferryhill circa 8years ago.
John Cruickshank has also been approached WRT training / management roll.
Gary Anderson may also be able to assist with training depending on his
commitments.
The managers position is still open if anyone can recommend a suitable
candidate and they will be considered. Ideally a three man team would be a
good balance.
Training will be three times a week (where possible) to get fit for the
forthcoming season.
Important to get the training off to a good start so invite along other
potential players as the squad needs to be improved.
We will enter the Scottish Cup this season.
Team night out was pencilled in for Saturday 28th June (feedback required on
this date - On Ferryhill website guestbook or by email)
Jason Napier was investigating sponsorship from MARDALE??
Possible friendly with Ellon Thistle on 19th July
Think thats all that was discussed. Please forward this email on to anyone
that has been missed.
One more thing, who has got the training cones.

After paying some outstanding Bills and next seasons application.
Club Funds are quite healthy.
Note that last seasons payment for the Gym came to approx £600.
Fines - Lost count!
Anyway, we will have to keep the fund raising going for this season ie £5 on match days. |
